Item 7: Public Consultation and Grievance Redressal Mechanisms
Public consultation and citizen participation are ensured through established local government forums:
- Gram Sabhas & Ward Meetings: Junior and Assistant Engineers attend Gram Sabha meetings to gather public inputs regarding rural road, water, and building projects.
- Janaspandana & Public Grievance Meetings: Regular public grievance sessions organized by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and ZP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) address citizen complaints regarding civil works.
- RTI Facilitation Desk: Citizens can approach the Public Information Officer (PIO) during working hours for technical clarifications and public record access.
